DTC uses high speed 5 axis CNC to trim and drill CFRTP parts. From December 2011 DTC uses 2 large 5-axis portal style machines from CMS, Italy. These machines are used for machining of thermoplastic composites as well as the manufacturing of aluminium tools.
DTC is qualified for machining CFRTP for both Boeing and Airbus.
