As of the 1st of May 2011, DTC is participating in the Competitive Composite Initiative (C2I), which is a so-called Innovation Performance Contract (IPC). In C2I consortia are formed between several Dutch SME’s and research institutes that will carry out an innovation project in the area of composite materials. DTC will work on the topic of resistance welding of fibre reinforced thermoplastic composites in this project.
C2I is carried out under the lead of the Netherlands Aerospace Group and supported by the Stratagem Group, as well Syntens. This IPC is partly funded by Agentschap NL.
